No Wagering Casinos UK

How we earn: some casino links on this page may pay us a commission if you sign up. It costs you nothing and never moves a casino up our list. We list only UK Gambling Commission licensed casinos. 18+. Full disclosure.

Quick answer A no wagering casino bonus pays winnings from its spins or bonus as cash you can withdraw, with no play-through first. Since 19 January 2026 all UK bonus wagering is capped at 10x, so low wagering is now standard and zero wagering is the best case. Check the casino’s own terms to confirm, and compare licensed sites in our table.

No wagering casino UK bonuses explained
No wagering means winnings are withdrawable straight away. Low wagering in the UK now means 10x or less.

Key takeaways

  • A wagering requirement is where you must make wagers totalling a set value before funds become withdrawable (UKGC definition).
  • UK wagering has been capped at 10 times since 19 January 2026, so every UK bonus is now “low wagering” by old standards.
  • No wagering means zero play-through on winnings. Other terms, such as expiry and maximum stake, can still apply.
  • Two offers we verified on 29 September 2026 are wager free: LeoVegas (50 spins, deposit £10 and wager £10 once) and PlayOJO (50 spins on a £10 first deposit, no cap on winnings stated).
  • Never assume a casino’s offer is wager free. Read its own terms page on the day you claim.

What does no wagering mean at a UK casino?

No wagering means any winnings from the bonus or free spins are paid as withdrawable cash, with no requirement to play them through first. The Gambling Commission defines a wagering requirement as where a customer must make wagers totalling a particular value for funds to become withdrawable. A no wagering offer removes that condition entirely.

With a standard bonus, your winnings sit in a bonus balance until you have wagered a set multiple. With a no wagering bonus, the winnings land in your cash balance and you can request a withdrawal straight away, subject to normal account checks.

No wagering does not mean no terms. A genuine no wagering offer can still have:

  • a qualifying deposit or stake to trigger it;
  • a fixed value per spin and a named slot;
  • a time limit to claim and to use the spins;
  • eligibility rules, such as new GB customers only;
  • qualifying payment methods;
  • a cap on how much can be won or withdrawn from the offer.

So “no wagering” answers one question only: do I have to play my winnings through? Every other term still needs reading.

How did the 10x wagering cap change no wagering offers?

Before 19 January 2026, UK offers could carry wagering of 35x, 50x or more, and the Gambling Commission noted some operators applied up to 60 times. That made no wagering offers stand out sharply. Now every UK bonus is capped at 10x, so the gap between a low wagering bonus and a no wagering bonus is much smaller.

Wagering multiple on a £10 bonus Total wagers needed Allowed in the UK now?
60x £600 No
50x (the Commission’s own example) £500 No
35x £350 No
10x (the cap) £100 Yes
5x £50 Yes
1x £10 Yes
No wagering £0 Yes

The Commission considered a full ban on wagering and caps of 1x and 5x, and chose 10x. It said a ban or very low caps could lead casinos to add other terms that stop customers cashing out bonuses, could push some players toward the illegal market, and would make it harder for smaller licensees to compete. It found limited evidence to justify 5x over 10x.

That reasoning matters when you look at no wagering offers. A casino that removes wagering has to manage its cost somewhere else, often through a smaller headline, a lower spin value or a cap on winnings. Read those terms with the same care.

For the maths behind any multiple, see our full guide to casino wagering requirements and the 10x cap.

Which UKGC-licensed casinos can you compare?

Every casino in our table holds an active UK Gambling Commission remote casino licence that we checked on the public register. We show offer terms only where we have read them on the casino’s own page. On 29 September 2026 only LeoVegas and PlayOJO had a no wagering welcome offer among those we could read, so do not treat the whole table as a list of no wagering sites.

Order: casinos whose welcome offer we have read on their own site come first; the rest follow. Offers and banking facts were read from each operator's UK site on the date shown. Licence numbers link to each operator's entry on the Gambling Commission public register.

If a casino in the table advertises a no wagering offer, open its promotions page and check the terms yourself before depositing. We will add no wagering offers to the table only after reading and dating the terms on each casino’s own site. Our method is set out on the how we rate page.

Which UK casinos have a no wagering welcome offer right now?

Two of the six welcome offers we verified on 29 September 2026 carry no wagering on spin winnings. LeoVegas gives 50 wager-free spins on Big Bass Splash after you deposit £10 and wager £10 once. PlayOJO gives 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza on your first deposit of £10, with no wagering and no cap on winnings stated.

All figures are as each operator states them on its own page, checked 29 September 2026. Note the LeoVegas £10 wager is a qualifying step on your own deposit, not wagering on the spins. Of the other verified offers, Grosvenor, 888casino and Unibet carry 10x wagering and Sky Casino’s offer text does not state its wagering. A 10x offer is well inside the rules, but it is not a no wagering offer, and we will not describe it as one.

How do you confirm an offer is really no wagering?

Read the significant terms next to the offer, then the full bonus terms. Look for a clear statement that winnings are paid as cash with no wagering. Then check for a cap on winnings, a maximum stake, eligible games, expiry and qualifying payment methods. If the words “no wagering” appear only in the headline and nowhere in the terms, ask support before depositing.

  1. Find the wagering line. It should say “no wagering”, “0x” or that winnings are paid in cash.
  2. Check what it covers. Some offers have no wagering on spins but wagering on a separate deposit bonus in the same package.
  3. Look for a winnings cap. A maximum amount you can withdraw from the offer changes its value.
  4. Check the spin value and the slot. Ten spins at £0.10 is £1 of play; ten at £0.50 is £5.
  5. Check the clock. Note both the claim window and how long the spins last once credited.
  6. Check the payment method. Make sure the method you plan to use qualifies.
  7. Screenshot the terms. Keep a dated copy in case of a dispute.

The Gambling Commission requires terms for incentives to be clear, transparent, fair and readily accessible to anyone offered them. If you cannot tell whether an offer has wagering after reading its page, that is a problem with the offer, not with you.

Is a no wagering bonus better than a low wagering bonus?

Not always. No wagering removes the play-through, but the offer may be smaller or carry a winnings cap. A low wagering bonus of, say, 5x on a larger amount can give more play time. Compare what you put in, what you get, what you must wager, and any cap on what you can take out.

Factor No wagering Low wagering (up to 10x)
Play-through on winnings None Up to 10 times the bonus
Time to a withdrawable balance Immediate after play After wagering is complete
Typical trade off Smaller offer, lower spin value or a winnings cap Wagering, game weighting and maximum stake rules
Game weighting Not relevant to winnings Can make wagering take longer than the multiple suggests
Best for Players who want simplicity Players happy to play longer on the same games

The deciding question is simple: after reading both sets of terms, which one needs less extra spending and less extra play from you? Choose that one, or neither.

How does game weighting affect low wagering bonuses?

Game weighting sets how much each type of game counts toward wagering. If slots count at 100 percent and table games at 10 percent, £10 on roulette clears only £1 of wagering. The Gambling Commission chose not to change weighting rules when it set the 10x cap, but said it expects weighting terms to be clear and transparent.

The Commission also said that if weighting changes had a considerable impact on customers, it could consider further action, including the option of a ban. For you, the practical point is this: a 10x offer on a game that counts at 50 percent works out like 20x on that game. Check the contribution table before you choose where to play.

No wagering offers avoid this problem for winnings, because there is nothing to clear. They can still limit which slot the spins work on.

Do stake limits apply when you play no wagering spins?

Yes. Online slots in Great Britain are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over, from 9 April 2025, and £2 per spin for players aged 18 to 24, from 21 May 2025. These limits apply to all online slot play. Free spins are usually set at a fixed value well below them.

If you go on to play with winnings from no wagering spins, the same limits apply to every spin you make. Bonus terms can also set a lower maximum stake while an offer is active. Our slot stake limits guide explains the rules in full.

Can you still be asked for ID on a no wagering withdrawal?

You should have been verified before you played. The Gambling Commission says all online gambling businesses must check your age and identity before you gamble. It also says they should not ask for information as a condition of withdrawal if they could have asked earlier, unless a legal duty, such as anti-money laundering checks, means they can only ask then.

In other words, a no wagering offer does not skip identity checks. It simply means that once you have won, the only thing between you and a withdrawal should be the casino’s normal processing. If a casino delays a withdrawal for ID it could have requested sooner, the Commission says it may be in breach of Licence Condition 17.

If a problem arises, complain to the casino first. It has 8 weeks to resolve your complaint. After that you can take it to a free, independent Alternative Dispute Resolution provider.

What are the warning signs on a “no wagering” offer?

Be wary of any UK offer that mixes products, such as a sports bet unlocking casino spins, because that has been banned since 19 January 2026. Be wary too of offers where the no wagering claim is only in the headline, where terms are hard to find, or where winnings are capped at a level that is not shown upfront.

  • Mixed-product conditions. An incentive must not include more than one type of product. A casino offer that needs a sports bet does not meet the rules.
  • Wagering above 10x anywhere in the package. That does not meet the cap.
  • Hidden caps. A maximum win figure buried deep in the full terms.
  • Short windows. Spins that expire before you would realistically play them.
  • No licence details. A UK casino should show its Gambling Commission licence. Check it on the public register, as described in our licence check guide.

We only list casinos with an active UKGC remote casino licence. Casumo’s casino licence, for example, shows as surrendered on the register, so it is not in our table.

How do no wagering, cashback and deposit match offers differ?

They answer different questions. A deposit match adds bonus funds that must usually be wagered, up to 10x. A no wagering offer pays winnings as cash. A cashback style offer returns part of losses, and its terms decide whether the return is cash or bonus funds with wagering. Read each on its own terms page.

Offer type What you receive Wagering in the UK Key term to check
Free spins after a qualifying stake Spins at a fixed value on a named slot Up to 10x on the relevant amount, or none Spin value, expiry and what the multiple covers
Deposit match Bonus funds as a share of your deposit Up to 10x Game weighting and maximum stake
No wagering spins Spins with cash winnings None Any cap on winnings
Cashback style A share of losses returned Depends on whether paid as cash or bonus How the return is paid

Whatever the type, the offer must stick to one product. Since 19 January 2026 an incentive cannot include more than one of betting, casino, bingo and lottery. The Commission said mixed offers raise the risk of harm and can confuse people with complex terms.

One more rule is worth knowing. The Commission removed an older clause and replaced the code with a structure of what licensees must and must not do. Licensees must not increase the value of an incentive because you reach the qualifying spend faster. An offer that pays more for playing quicker does not meet the rules.

Your questions, answered

What does no wagering mean at a UK casino?

No wagering means winnings from a bonus or free spins are paid as withdrawable cash, with no requirement to play them through first. Other terms can still apply, such as a qualifying deposit, a named slot, an expiry, eligible payment methods and a cap on how much you can win.

Is low wagering now the norm in the UK?

Yes. Since 19 January 2026 the Gambling Commission caps bonus wagering at 10 times. Before that, the Commission noted some operators applied up to 60 times. Every UK bonus is now low wagering by old standards, and no wagering is simply the zero end of the range.

Which UK casinos have a no wagering welcome offer?

On 29 September 2026, from their own pages: LeoVegas gives 50 wager-free spins on Big Bass Splash after you deposit £10 and wager £10 once, and PlayOJO gives 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza on a £10 first deposit, no wagering, with no cap on winnings stated. Unibet's offer carries 10x wagering.

Is no wagering always better than low wagering?

Not always. No wagering offers are often smaller, use lower spin values or cap winnings. A low wagering bonus on a larger amount can give more play. Compare what you put in, what you get, what you must wager and any cap on what you can take out.

How does game weighting affect wagering?

Game weighting sets how much each game counts toward wagering. If a game counts at 50 percent, 10x wagering works like 20x on that game. The Gambling Commission kept weighting rules unchanged in 2026 but expects the terms to be clear and transparent.

Do slot stake limits apply to no wagering spins?

Yes. Online slots in Great Britain are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 per spin for players aged 18 to 24. Free spins use a fixed value well below this, and bonus terms can set a lower maximum stake.
